Livigno offers an unforgettable ski experience and a snow guarantee from December to May. It is one of the best-equipped skiing resorts in the Alps.
Livigno offers Italian hospitality and superb ski and snowboard facilities. One of the best things about Livigno is the convenience to reach the ski lifts. From many lodgings, it’s possible to reach the lift installations skiing!
Skiing in Livigno means plunging into nature with incredible views of Bernina Mountains and the valley of Livigno. From December to May, the dry climate of Livigno guarantees 115 km of prepared ski runs, from an altitude of 1816 meters to 2950 meters above sea level.
Snow and sun guarantee
The north-south orientation of the valley and the possibility to ski on two wide mountain-sides, Mottolino and Carosello 3000, ensure sunny slopes from dawn to sunset. Over 100 artificial snow machines guarantee snow covering of 70% of the skiable terrain.
Lifts and slopes
The Livigno ski area offers a network of 30 lift installations with a total capacity of 47.300 people per hour and there is almost no waiting time at the lifts. With 12 black, 37 red and 29 blue pistes, it offers fun for everyone from absolute beginners to experienced skiers and snowboarders. A scheduled ski bus service is available free of charge.
Giorgio Rocca run
Experienced skiers can enjoy steep and long slopes such as the exciting Giorgio Rocca run. Beginners can use the easy runs or learn the basics in one of the well-equipped fun areas or attending one of the 6 ski and snowboard schools.
Every Thursday evening you will have the chance to try the exciting experience of night skiing.
For children from 3 years old and up Livigno offers 2 Kids Clubs where you can leave your child in a world of games and fun where they will be taken care of by qualified staff. You can choose for the nursery only or for nursery + ski school. The nursery service is free of charge.
Italian gastronomical delights
Being an Italian ski resort Livigno features many restaurants with distinguished gastronomical delights. Mottolino, Camanel di Planon, Costaccia and Carosello refuges offer Italian dishes with local products.
Livigno is also known for its apres-ski. Besides the refuges on the slopes, close to the lifts there are various bars and pubs that offer a wide range of drinks, snacks, music and a great alpine atmosphere. Do taste a Bombardino when enjoying Livigno’s apres-ski!
